Welcome to #AskStefan Q&A!
This is a unique opportunity for people to ask me questions about my business and my life.
I will always answer your questions to the best of my ability. As always, my focus is on adding as much value to you as possible.
Lets dive into my some of my answers to your questions:
Hi Stefan, I'm a 15-year old boy from Germany. What can I do to start my life mastery?
First and foremost, congrats on being only 15 years old and being open and interested in self-development. I wish I was asking these questions when I was your age.
Understand that the more that you can invest in yourself, the better.
When you are young, you are still formulating your belief systems and your identity, which means that you are much more susceptible and open to growth. You don’t have as much fear and doubt.
Read books, consume valuable info on YouTube, listen to podcasts, attend seminars, etc. If you can take action and apply what you are learning, that’s even better. It will support you later in life and will pay off when you are in your 20’s and 30’s.
I didn’t start my online business until I was in my 20’s, and I think a big reason why I am successful at 29 years old is because of all the work that I have put in over the years.
What are the top 3 skills you’ve learned in your life? What inspires you?
I fully commit myself to whatever I pursue. That is a critical skill that will allow you to be successful at anything in your life.
I also apply everything that I learn. As soon as I learn something, I implement it into my life right away and take massive action. If you don’t apply information, you won’t get the results that you desire.
Marketing is another powerful skill that I believe everyone should learn. Everybody needs to be able to market or sell his/her ideas, products or services.
People that overcome incredible obstacles in their lives inspire me, as do people that are living their passion and contributing to making the world a better place.
Another thing that inspires me is when people reach out to me and express that they have gained massive value from my courses. It gives me the inspiration that I need to keep sharing my passion. I learn a lot from others, who apply my knowledge and end up achieving great things as a result.
What do you suggest if I wanted to do a multitude of things? For example, if I want to play music professionally, but I also want to be a life/health coach. Please help me with this dilemma.
It’s always better to focus on one thing at a time, two at most. If you are going to focus on more than one thing, than make sure that they are all related to one another. If so, then each arena can support one another.
Music and coaching are two different paths. Pick one and focus on that, long-term. If you do too many things at once, it is going to overwhelm you and it will lower the quality of your work.
I’m in a position where I am able to focus on many things, but I didn’t start off that way. For example, when I was blogging, I also had a YouTube channel and a Kindle business, but they were all related to one another. I was using my Kindle books that were related to self-development and business to promote my YouTube channel and blog.
I combined those different things into one thing. Today, I am able to run multiple businesses, not because I have more time, but because I have automated my business, which gives me more freedom to focus on the most important aspects of my business.
How do I maintain that new business high? How do I make sure that I don’t slow down?
Have a strong why, a powerful mission and purpose behind your work.
It has to be more than just making revenue. If that is your goal, you won’t win the battle. Once you start making profit from your business, then you can end up losing your drive and motivation. What you can do with your profit is what really matters, whether it’s tangible or intangible. Getting a house or a car still isn’t enough.
Don’t be motivated by external factors. Love your business and the process. If you only focus on your needs, your business will not be sustainable, long-term. Provide massive value to others.
One of my goals has always been to build homes and schools for families suffering from poverty. I experience fulfillment through contributing to others. All of my needs are already met. I am so grateful. Now, I want to serve and contribute to others, as much as I can.
What was the moment you knew you made it big?
Interesting question.
I’m just a guy. I’ve just had more time than others. Maybe you are just starting your self-development journey now. Ever since I was 17, I’ve been massively focused on improving myself.
There isn’t one moment that I realized, “Wow, I made it big.” Part of the reason for that is because I know that there are always people that are much further ahead of me. You always want to try and stay humble.
My goal is to help people. If people respond and enjoy what share, than I will continue to do more of it.
When did you have your break-through in self-improvement, and what was the trigger for it?
From 14-17 years of age, I was obsessed with video games. I skipped school a lot because I was very shy. I would spend morning til night playing games.
There was a girl that I met online and I fell in love with her. It didn’t work out and I got my heart broken and I became very depressed. You could say that I hit rock bottom. I looked at my life and I said – “I’m not popular, I don’t have friends, I cant find a girlfriend,” etc. I felt so insignificant, and in that moment, I made a decision that I needed to change.
From that point on, I refused to settle. I discovered Tony Robbins and my life changed forever. He made me believe that I could improve myself.
I have trouble getting started in the morning, but once I start, I keep going. Any tips on getting going?
Just do it. Dive in.
If you are having trouble getting your day started, that’s why it’s so important to have a morning ritual. It solves most people’s problems. A morning ritual prepares you for your day.
Oftentimes, a lot of people don’t take action because they aren’t in the right state. A morning ritual ignites you and puts you in a peak state. When you are in that place, you are unstoppable so that you can take action towards achieving your goals. If you are tired, you will procrastinate, and will remain in your comfort zone. If I catch myself in a state of procrastination, I shift my mindset right away.
My online training program, Morning Ritual Mastery, will help you be accountable and identify the limiting beliefs that are holding you back from taking action in the morning. Create a ritual that will help you change those beliefs and condition yourself to live the life you desire.
What is the first step in changing your life?
Having the awareness and acceptance that you aren’t where you want to be. You need to identify where you currently are and where you want to go. There is always a gap. You can close that gap by identifying the best strategy. Get to a point where you hit rock bottom and you end up making a decision that you will do whatever it takes to change your life. Tell yourself that you will only go forward.
